Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of The US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in 2016. the Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded by using the balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the most medals. The gold medal she won during the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the American team. This made her, along with fellow teammate Gabby the first Americans - to achieve this feat. In addition, she won two silver medals for the floor exercise and an individual all-around. Three years had passed since she last competed in competition gymnastics. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American squads at the two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. She would like to become fashion-forward and increase her line of leotards and socks in the very near future. The book she is working on is titled Fierce which will come out at the end of this year.
