  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 also called Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper and singer. His stage name is that of his loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He has signed with Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The project was followed by the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his debut album on the studio included the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within the span of a year.
