Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Her parents were Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she moved to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television she played the character as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and the year 2020. In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series for New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. When she was two years old, she and her parents immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got an GED. She continued however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
